Our client is a recognised leader in commercial and industrial refrigeration, delivering innovative temperature‑control and cooling solutions to clients across food manufacturing, logistics, cold storage, and large‑scale facilities nationwide. Renowned for their technical expertise, reliability, and customer‑first approach, the business continues to grow its footprint across Australia. To support this expansion, they are now seeking a driven and technically‑minded Business Development Manager to lead growth in key markets. The Role Reporting to senior management, you’ll take ownership of developing and executing sales strategies across both new and existing clients. You’ll identify opportunities, build lasting relationships, and deliver tailored refrigeration solutions that meet each client’s operational needs. This role is ideal for someone who understands the technical side of refrigeration and thrives on achieving commercial outcomes. Key Responsibilities Drive new business across commercial, industrial, and process refrigeration markets. Manage and grow relationships with key accounts and channel partners. Identify project opportunities, prepare proposals, and oversee the full sales cycle. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and installation teams to deliver integrated solutions. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge. Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in business development or sales within refrigeration, HVAC, or mechanical services. Solid technical understanding of commercial or industrial refrigeration systems. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Commercial acumen with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously. Engineering, trade, or tertiary qualification in a related discipline highly regarded.
