Medical Receptionist (Starting Jan 2026) Coastal Orthopaedics and Sports Injuries – Gosford NSW Medical Secretary – Full Time | Coastal Orthopaedics North Gosford Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pmLocation: North Gosford, NSWHourly Rate: $28–$32 per hour (depending on experience) Coastal Orthopaedics North Gosford is a well-established and fast-paced specialist practice seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and patient-focused Medical Secretary to join our team. This is mainly a phone-based, full-time role ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys helping patients navigate their care. Role starting January 2026. About the Role As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Key responsibilities include: Managing a high volume of incoming calls Booking appointments and coordinating patient schedules Triaging referrals and ensuring timely follow-up Handling patient enquiries with clarity and empathy Explaining surgery quotes and assisting with related questions Maintaining accurate patient records and completing administrative tasks Daily use of Blue Chip and Medical Director software About You We are looking for someone who is: Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to five days per week Enthusiastic, keen to learn, and happy working in a busy, fast-paced environment Professional with an excellent phone manner Confident multitasking and managing competing priorities Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills Experienced in medical administration (preferred but not essential) Familiar with Blue Chip and Medical Director (highly regarded) What We Offer A supportive and friendly specialist team A stable weekday position with no weekend work The opportunity to work in a respected orthopaedic practice Competitive hourly rate: $28–$32 per hour , based on experience If you are a positive, committed individual who thrives in a busy clinical environment, we would love to hear from you.
