Medical Receptionist

We are a busy neurological practice with consulting neurologists, visiting neurosurgeons, general surgeons and pain specialists, located in Erina. We are looking for a very experienced medical receptionist to join our team. Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of medical reception/administration experience. The position is for 3 days per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday. You will also be required to cover for sick leave and holiday leave when necessary. The successful candidate will require: Extensive experience in reception/administration and up to date computing skills. Healthcare reception experience is preferred, though general reception experience may be considered. Excellent attention to detail with good comprehension, grammar and spelling. Ability to think quickly and work calmly in a very busy environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise. Be dependable with a strong work ethic. Ability to work both independently with initiative and as part of a team. Previous experience with Shexie software is highly desirable, but not essential. Understanding of Medicare requirements.
