We are currently seeking a Technical Officer to join our team in Gympie . This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, particularly in Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements programs, road construction and maintenance, with some travel required as part of the role. As a Technical Officer, you will: Assist in the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including road and drainage works Provide technical support to project managers and engineers in the preparation of drawings, designs, reports and specifications Monitor project progress, maintain accurate records and ensure documentation aligns with project and funding standards Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and clients to support efficient project outcomes Use CAD and other design and project management software to produce and update technical documentation Utilise systems to assist with project reporting, data management and funding compliance About You You’re a team player with a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in civil construction principles. You’re confident navigating both field and office environments and your excellent computer literacy ensures accuracy and efficiency across technical and administrative tasks. Experience with DRFA projects, road construction or maintenance and familiarity with Recover will be highly regarded. Your Experience & Qualifications Mandatory Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years’ general experience in the civil infrastructure industry Construction Industry White Card Valid Australian Driver’s Licence Desirable Experience & Qualifications Background in road construction, maintenance or DRFA project delivery Experience using Recover software for data entry, reporting and project management Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools Experience with project management software and GIS applications Associate Degree of Engineering (Civil), Construction Management or related field (or equivalent) Why Join CRC?
