Strategy Consultant (freelance basis, competitive daily rate) Empower Solutions is an international consulting and technology firm supporting financial institutions, fintechs, and public-sector clients across Europe and Australia. We specialise in strategy, regulatory transformation, AI adoption, and the delivery of large-scale digital change. We are now seeking an experienced freelance Strategy Consultant on daily rate base to support clients across strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and digital change portfolios. About the role: You will work directly with C-level leaders and senior management to shape business strategy, define target operating models, and lead the execution of high-impact transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong strategic mindset, excellent analytical capability, and hands-on consulting experience within financial services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, can translate complex business objectives into structured plans, and is comfortable driving cross-functional delivery. Initial contract until 31/03/2026 with possible extension paying between $130- $200/hr, based on experience and project fit. Only ABN, no super included. This is not an IT role, purely business / strategy. Key responsibilities: Partner with senior executives to develop business strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps Lead end-to-end strategic projects across digital, regulatory, and operational domains Understand business processes and design future-state solutions, including AI-enabled enhancements Translate strategic objectives into project plans, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes Conduct market analysis, business case development, and financial/operational assessments Manage cross-functional teams across design, analysis, testing, and implementation Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and governance standards Drive change management, communication, and adoption activities across programs About you: 8–10+ years’ experience in strategy consulting, transformation, or financial services Strong background in banking, wealth management or regulated environments Demonstrated experience leading strategic initiatives, digital transformation, or operating model redesign Comfortable working with executives and communicating complex topics clearly Solid understanding of business processes across regulatory, payments, data quality, wealth/asset management, or corporate banking Experience with AI, digital tools, and modern technology solutions is highly valued Excellent analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and documentation skills Skilled in stakeholder management across business and technology teams Experience in Agile environments and delivering end-to-end project outcomes Strong communication and presentation skills What we offer: Flexible work options to support how you work best Ability for growth in role scope Freelancer friendly pay out schedules #J-18808-Ljbffr
