It is in these moments that the Mackay Goodwin team are made for.Our Brisbane Insolvency team is on the hunt for a Manager level analyst with a keen interest to grow with us. You will be assisting senior staff with a wide range of corporate insolvency and restructuring appointments including Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations, Receiverships and other appointments.Key responsibilities of the role would include;

Co-ordinate and manage all assigned engagementsBrief junior staff on job requirements including allocation of responsibilities and tasks as appropriateImplement a strong understanding of case law and statutory requirements for each type of formal insolvency appointmentMonitor and meet statutory deadlinesOversees and coordinates realising assets of individualsConduct interviews with directors/bankruptsLiaise with financiers, lawyers, agents and auctioneersApplies knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operatingShares knowledge, best practices and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the teamReviews work of junior team membersDesigns, develops and analyses financial modelsIdentifies, researches and resolves any complex accounting issuesPreparation and review of detailed financial analysis and investigative reportsWhat we can offer you:

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce with an Accounting Major or other relevant studiesRelevant experience in corporate insolvency of 3+ yearsCompleted or keen interest to study CAANZ/CPAStrong ethical standardsStrong communication and report writing skillsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamAbility to meet and work towards deadlinesAbility to liaise with banks, lawyers, and other professionals
