The Opportunity We are looking for a Junior Fleet Controller with a background in transport or logistics who is passionate about developing their career in container transport operations. This role provides hands‑on training and exposure to a fast‑paced operational environment. Perfect for someone who: Has experience or exposure to the transport and logistics industry Wants to progress into fleet controlling Learns quickly and enjoys problem‑solving Works well under pressure and communicates confidently Key Responsibilities (With Training Provided) Assist with planning daily transport operations, including container preloads and driver scheduling Help allocate jobs to contract drivers and communicate start times Support import container bookings and same‑day/next‑day scheduling Learn to monitor 1‑Stop lists and manage time slot bookings Help avoid storage and detention fees through proactive planning Assist with coordinating empty container returns Support driver compliance, fatigue management, and CoR requirements Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams Gain exposure to platforms such as 1‑Stop, Container Chain, and Freight Tracker About You Background in transport or logistics (warehouse, yard, admin, operations support, or similar) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks Confident using computers and Microsoft Office Positive attitude, reliable, and eager to grow with the company Understanding of container transport industry is a bonus What We Offer Full training from experienced Fleet Controllers Supportive and energetic work environment Clear progression pathway to a senior controller role Long‑term stability with a respected transport provider Opportunity to build a solid operations career in container transport How to Apply If you’re passionate about transport logistics and ready to grow into a Fleet Controller role, we’d love to hear from you.
