Are you an experienced, analytical professional looking for a role where your expertise can shape fair and transparent decision-making? Our client is seeking dedicated Senior Review Officers / Review Officers to deliver high-quality external review services under the Right to Information Act (RTI Act). About the Role In this important position, you will : Conduct assessments of the merits of external review applications made under the RTI Act. Engage with applicants and agencies to identify opportunities for early resolution and negotiate the settling of matters. Prepare well-reasoned draft decisions for consideration by senior delegated decision-makers. Undertake research to support the effective and accurate conduct of external reviews. What You'll Bring We are looking for candidates with strong : Critical thinking and analytical skills Attention to detail Time management and prioritisation capability Proven experience interpreting and applying legislation Mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills Planning and problem-solving ability Strong oral and written communication skills Experience drafting statutory decisions and reasons Stakeholder engagement and customer service skills Research proficiency Competency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint Public sector experience at AO6 or AO7 level is highly desirable. Experience in regulatory, policy, legal or information access environments is highly regarded.
