Montrose Medical Practice is a leading private billing practice located in the vibrant heart of Glebe. We pride ourselves on our commitment to clear, effective communication with our patients, holistic patient care and fostering great teamwork within our practice. This collaborative environment allows us to share experience and knowledge, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. We are open from 9am to 7pm on weekdays, 9am to 1pm on weekends, and closed on public holidays. Conveniently located near shops and public transport, our practice offers a supportive environment and a balanced work-life schedule. Your Role and Responsibilities We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least 2 year of experience in a general practice setting. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : Administering immunizations for adults and children Patient education and triage Conducting health checks as per government guidelines for various age groups Assisting in minor procedures (IUD and Implanon insertion, skin excisions, iron infusions, earwax syringing) Managing patient reminders and recalls Overseeing inventory for medical supplies Performing ECG, spirometry, and vision tests Managing wound reviews and dressings Cold chain management and infection control Preparing GP Management Plans Supporting practice accreditation processes Working Hours at least 40-60 hours per fortnight (with availability on Tuesdays and Fridays being essential), working alongside another practice nurse.
