Key Highlights Work in a brand premise, new super medical clinic in Eastern Suburbs near the beach with 30+ year history Free parking Office + Optionality to work from home Competitive remuneration based on experience You will be supported by a book‑keeper Get an idea of our services by visiting our website @ Essential Skills and Attributes 5 years working for a large Specialist Medical Clinic &/or AGPAL accredited medical centre Managing employees across (admin, nursing) Part time, full time and casual capacities (role has options to manage GP or Allied Health and Specialists staff or both depending on skills and experience) Managing Practitioners spanning GPs, Specialists and Allied Health (role has options to manage GP or Allied Health and Specialists or both depending on skills and experience) Natural people leader who loves working in medicine and helping people Strong workforce procedures and staff training of leading practices within AGPAL Highly Regarded Preferred Skills Nursing EN/RN or Aboriginal Health Worker qualifications Accounting and Book keeping qualifications Have successfully managed AGPAL accreditation process Specialist Medical Clinic experience Tasks include but are not limited to: Overall Billing accountability ensuring correct billing (auditing daily) and daily batching Maintain and control debtors, creditors and general ledger to ensure maximum profitability and cash flow and compliance with all taxation, record keeping and other statutory requirements Manage the day-to-day running of practice to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively (including management of disruptions) Managing all practice correspondence fax, phones, emails and actioning where possible Staff management – rostering, overtime, leave, training, pay and hiring new staff, performance management, onboarding new staff Managing the front reception desk when required, improve team workflow, lead & support staff to manage patient appointments Helping to maintain the high level of service we offer to our patients is paramount Running and measuring Employee satisfaction surveys and improvement plans Recruitment, development and management of clinical and non-clinical practice staff to ensure high performance and continuing professional improvement Leadership and management including team building, delegation of tasks and conflict resolution.
