About the role The Administrative and IT Lead oversees efficient, consumer-focused support for Inpatient Wards, MDU, CAVUCS, and The role ensures accurate patient information management, optimal administrative staffing, and seamless coordination of services to meet clinical and operational needs. Key duties of the role Foster a collaborative, team-based approach across IP Wards, MDU, CAVUCS, and administrative services. Develop and implement strategies to streamline administrative processes for patients, consumers, and staff. Coordinate and lead change in key administrative functions such as registration, booking, admission, and discharge, ensuring consistency across all services. Promote and maintain high standards of data integrity within the Sunrise EMR system. Resolve complex enquiries and consumer complaints, acting as a patient advocate in all administrative matters. Skills and Experience Proven ability to liaise effective with a variety of staff within a large multidisciplinary team. Proven ability to lead and motivate staff working in a high-pressure environment. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and prioritise own workloads as well as monitor the overall service delivery of the units within the role’s remit. Proven experience in staff management, leadership, performance development and coordinating service to patient care. Significant experience in implementing and managing a roster that supports extended service within the context of a hospital environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
