With a focus on reliability, affordability, and excellent customer service, we pride ourselves on helping our clients create memorable events. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and hands‑on Warehouse Assistant who has a passion for contributing to smooth warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately, trucks are loaded securely and safely, and the warehouse is kept organised and efficient. The Warehouse Assistant will be focused on product care, repairs, and the correct return processes, while always ensuring products are stored and packed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Organise, prepare, and check customer orders against booking sheets. Load and secure trucks safely for delivery and collection of hire items. Maintain warehouse organisation, tidiness, and cleanliness. Oversee product repairs, maintenance, and quality control. Assist other team members to return items to the correct location using the correct process. Monitor and improve warehouse efficiency, storage, and packing methods to minimise product damage. Support the wider operations team in the field when required (e.g., event setups, deliveries). Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with WHS practices. Skills & Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or hire industry role. Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills. Hands‑on approach with integrity in always doing the right thing. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Driver’s licence (manual preferred) – beneficial for assisting with field support. Ability to lift and handle equipment safely (training provided). Attention to detail and accountability for processes. Roster Example This is a full‑time role that will involve evening work and some weekends, depending on event schedules and operational needs. Example roster: Mon: 10:00am – 7:00pm Tues: 10:00am – 7:00pm Wed: 10:00am – 7:00pm Thurs: 10:00am – 7:00pm Fri: 10:00am – 7:00pm Or Sat: 9:00am – 5:00pm (as required) Flexibility is essential, particularly during peak event seasons.
