About the Role Senior Planner (12‑month role) supporting clinical, strategic and operational business planning across the organisation. Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Planning, you will contribute to delivering the Northern Health Strategic Plan. Your key responsibilities include leading strategic, operational and clinical service planning initiatives; managing projects; conducting high‑level data analysis; and developing proposals for new services and capital developments. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of strategic, operational and clinical service planning initiatives. Manage complex planning projects from conception to implementation. Conduct high‑level data analysis to support decision making. Develop proposals for new services and capital developments. Provide timely, relevant strategic advice aligned with organisational priorities. Engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including the Department of Health and Victorian Health Building Authority. Apply project management best practices including planning, scheduling and implementation. Requirements for Success Proven experience Managing complex clinical, strategic and operational planning projects. Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic advice that informs service planning and organisational strategy. Strong project management skills, including advanced project planning, scheduling and implementation. Strong stakeholder management skills including relationship development, expectation management and, where necessary, influencing and negotiating. Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally. Attention to detail during all project phases, including stakeholder management.
