Overview Kensington Vet Clinic and Hospital, Kensington, VIC — Part-time RR-8943 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Vet Nurse (30 hours per week) to join our team at Kensington Vet Clinic, in the heart of the lovely and leafy Kensington community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-level patient care, alongside the ability to develop great working relationships. At Kensington, we aim to provide a comprehensive, professional, and compassionate veterinary service. We're a tight knit team who recognise the significance of pets and the place they hold in a family. Our aim is to provide a friendly work environment with an emphasis on high standards of care and continuing education. You will be supported by a team of highly trained and enthusiastic nurses and a clientele who truly value their pets. Responsibilities Provide effective support to veterinarians in all aspects of veterinary nursing Maintain an excellent level of patient care and customer service at all times, treating every patient as if they were your own Maintain a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness in the hospital and kennel areas at all times Assist with reception and administration tasks as required Qualifications Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and min 1-2 years’ veterinary nursing experience (junior nurses will also be considered) A keen desire to deliver excellent standards of patient care and customer service at all times Excellent communication and organisational skills A genuine love for animals and their people Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
