About Us: We are an established wholesale company in Building, Landscaping and Industrial materials located in the heart of Wetherill Park. We pride ourselves on a collaborative team environment and are looking for a proactive individual to help us maintain our efficient operations. The Role: We are looking for a highly organized and reliable Customer Service & Warehouse Assistant, you need a unique blend of "hard" and "soft" skills; you must be as comfortable on a computer as you are in the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service (Primary): Respond to product enquiries via email, phone, live chat, and social channels . Provide accurate details on product specifications, dimensions, materials, delivery options, and availability . Support customers through pre-purchase questions to help guide confident buying decisions. Order Processing Process online orders from multiple ecommerce platforms and marketplaces including in person and over the phone orders. Ensure accuracy of order data, customer details, and dispatch notes. Logistics Coordination Work closely with warehouse team to organise timely dispatch. Coordinate with external freight carriers to track shipments and resolve delivery issues. Communicate solutions professionally to ensure a positive customer experience. Customer Feedback & Review Follow-Up Conduct follow-ups with customers after delivery via phone, email, or SMS. Gather customer feedback , request reviews, and ensure satisfaction post-purchase. Identify opportunities to improve products, service, and customer experience. Warehouse Assistant (Secondary): Assist the warehouse team with unloading consignments from shipping containers from time to time. Safely operate a forklift to load and unload goods from delivery and pickup vehicles from time to time - this is a preferred skill but a willingness to learn is encouraged. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Strong attention to detail. Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, customer service, or sales support . Experience in bulky goods, homewares, or white goods is highly regarded. Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using order processing systems, marketplace portals, and customer service software . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to priorities tasks. A proactive and "can-do" attitude with a keen eye for detail. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. A reliable and professional demeanor. A current driver's license. Australian work rights are essential for this position.
