Overview Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respond Role This role is within the CASG environment working within the CAF16 Engineering and Technical Services Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Quality Management support services to the CAF16 Deputy Chief Engineer to support the management and maintenance of the CAF16 Quality Management System (QMS). Responsibilities Manage, and maintain the CAF16 QMS under the CASG QMS. Liaise with the CASG QMS Directorate team. Update the CAF16 internal audit plan and manage the performance of internal auditing of all CAF16 process areas in accordance with internal audit plan. Manage the documenting and actioning of corrective action requests and improvement requests in response to audit findings. If required, manage the conduct of and provide secretariat support to the bi-annual QMS Management Review (QMR) meetings. Complete CAF16 QMS inductions for new APS, ADF and Industry staff as required. Report to the CAF16 Deputy Chief Engineer on the status of extant tasks on a weekly basis. Apply knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and Defence policies and procedures to ensure that any analysis is relevant in the quality assurance context. Work collaboratively, developing and maintaining beneficial, effective relationships with the customer, colleagues and other stakeholders. Complete a handover of all CAF16 QMS activities and deliver a written final report on the health of the CAF16 QMS and the status of the merger of the CAF16 QMS into the JC2SPO QMS within the last two weeks of this task. Essential Qualifications Experience in and working knowledge of Quality Management Practices in a Defence environment. Internal Auditor qualifications meeting CASG QMS Directorate requirements. Highly desirable Lead Auditor qualifications meeting CASG QMS Directorate requirements.
