Job Details Fixed Term Full Time – 12 month Parental Leave Cover Commencing in late February 2026 to mid March 2027 Salary is $104k to $114k pro rata per annum, plus super HR Generalist in a diverse and busy environment Hybrid working arrangement – 3 days in office and 2 days from home each week Zoos Victoria operates four landmark zoos, Healesville Sanctuary, Kyabram Fauna Park, MelbourneZooand Werribee Open Range Zoo. As the HR Business Partner, you will provide generalist HR advice and support to managers and employees across Melbourne Zoo. You will partner closely with the leadership team to deliver solutions on a wide range of HR matters and support broader HR initiatives, including the implementation of a new HRIS over the next six months. Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice. Provide guidance on complex workplace matters, including employee relations and performance management. Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment processes, HR systems, administration and compliance requirements for Melbourne Zoo, supported by an HR Administrator. Contribute to workforce planning and organisational development initiatives. Collaborate with the HR team on strategic projects, including HRIS implementation, inclusion and diversity, and wellbeing initiatives.
