Townsville Catholic Education – Whitsundays QLD Commencement Date: Monday 19 January 2026 Location: Proserpine, QLD Salary Range: $36.98 to $38.14 per hour pending experience + Super Join our team as a Finance Officer (Accounts payable) at St Catherine's Catholic College, The Whitsundays We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) for a permanent term time position completing 22.5 hours per week and commencing on 19 January 2026. The Finance Officer is responsible for providing support to the Principal with the financial functions of the school, demonstrating a high level of self‑initiative, flexibility and dependability. The Finance Officer is required to be familiar with the School Mission Statement and to strive to achieve the spirit of this statement in performing the role. The Finance Officer demonstrates a high degree of skill and proficiency in managing a high volume of general phone enquiries and in office procedures. Guided by Catholic values, you’ll embrace the school’s mission, prioritise student safety and wellbeing, and help create a welcoming, supportive environment where every learner feels they belong.
