IT Infrastructure Network Engineer

Americold is a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure. What you’ll Do Design and implement LAN/WAN and SD-WAN network solutions. Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, and Palo Alto firewalls. Support application connectivity and interface services. Deploy and maintain global IT network security standards. Troubleshoot network issues and ensure consistent performance. Maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams. Collaborate with IT Security on incident response and threat management. Ensure compliance with SOX, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks. Lead and support infrastructure projects, including vendor coordination and cutover planning. Deliver high-level customer service to internal stakeholders. What Experience and Education You Need Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 3+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure, network operations, or similar roles. Hands‑on experience with Cisco networking (routers, switches, wireless), Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ISE, and Catalyst Center. Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS). Familiarity with AWS and Azure network environments (desirable). Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent (preferred). Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under pressure. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills. Experience with SOX compliance, audit documentation, and security frameworks.
