We are seeking an organised, proactive, and reliable Practice Administrator to support our Senior Management team. This role is open to both internal and external applicants. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. The role includes providing general assistance to the senior management practice team and candidates must have a positive can-do attitude to their work and work well as part of a team. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our practice operations across all sites, ensuring excellent patient care and compliance with NHS standards. You will be fitting into an established supportive team with a Patient Services Manager, Practice Manager and admin/reception team. The Senior Administrator plays a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the practice. This role involves overseeing and streamlining workflow processes, handling complex tasks. The post-holder will work closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure timely, accurate, and safe administrative support that contributes to high-quality patient care. Main duties of the job The Practice Administrator will manage, support compliance and safety audits, assist with HR tasks, provide clinical systems support, liaise with staff and suppliers, and perform general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the practice. The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken may include any or all of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Practice Manager, dependent on current and evolving Practice workload and staffing levels: About us Bugbrooke Medical Practice is a rural practice caring for over 10,750 patients. A Training and dispensing practice, currently dispensing to over 3,500 patients. 4 GP Partners & salaried GPs supported by a team of ANP, Nurses and HCA's in addition to a well established Clinical Pharmacy team. A further AR team of physiotherapists, social prescriber and dietician. Job responsibilities Clinical Systems Support: Maintaining and updating Systm1 Reports; Running monthly Arden reports and reporting activity to senior management team Team & Supplier Liaison: Acting as a point of contact for practice staff and external suppliers, IT trouble shooting; setting up user accounts Monitor and improve workflow systems across the admin team to ensure efficiency and timeliness. Carry out accurate clinical coding of patient records in line with practice and national standards. Collaborate with clinical and management teams to identify and resolve process bottlenecks. Support the implementation of new systems or tools to enhance practice operations. Contribute to service improvement initiatives and assist with audits or data collection as required. Other Duties: Any other tasks as required by the management team.
