Clinical Nurse Specialist – Kogarah Hospital We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to join our team at Kogarah, providing specialised, individualised, case‑managed complex client care and clinical leadership for the Transitional Aged Care Service (TACS) at Calvary Health Care Kogarah (CHCK). Position: Permanent, full‑time Location: Kogarah HospitalSalary: $60,778.95 per hour + super & salary packaging About The Role As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 you will operationally report to the TACS Manager and professionally to the Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Services Nurse Manager. You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, leading, supporting and supervising other nurses to ensure person‑centred, safe, high‑quality and compassionate care. Selection Criteria Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and have an unrestricted Class C NSW driver’s licence. Have relevant post‑registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience in aged care, rehabilitation or community setting, or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem‑solve through clinical management plans. Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision‑making while working in multidisciplinary teams and apply professional and ethical boundaries. Demonstrated skills in the development and facilitation of patient and carer education; and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff. Demonstrated high‑level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient outcomes. Demonstrated competence in the use of health‑related information technology. Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the Little Company of Mary Health Care.
