Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This role involves precision machining using CNC equipment, 3D programming, troubleshooting, and occasional workshop duties. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional results for our clients while supporting company growth. Efficiency, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are essential. Key Responsibilities Prepare and operate CNC machines for milling, drilling, turning, and grinding. Program and set up mills and lathes, including entering instructions, setting offsets, and proving part programs. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and tolerances. Maintain precision, consistently achieving tolerances of 0.01mm. Conduct test runs, measure finished parts, and ensure quality standards are met. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machinery as required. Assist in welding, repairs, and machining works associated with mechanical plant. Complete all Quality Assurance documentation and follow company procedures. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes where qualified. Support a collaborative and safe workshop environment. Other duties as directed by the Supervisor. Requirements Qualifications & Certificates Forklift High Risk Ticket, Overhead Crane, and Dogging certificates are highly regarded Minimum 6 years of experience on CNC Machines Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role Manual machining experience and technical understanding of mining/agricultural equipment Proven ability to handle one-off projects with attention to detail Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Flexible, adaptable, and resilient under pressure Proficient in maths and computer use Strong focus on workplace health and safety Valid driver’s licence and own transport Why Join Us?
