Legal Counsel (Employment Lawyer) Newly created Legal Counsel (Employment Lawyer) position for a global trading firm with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset and approach. This is a dynamic organisation that is going through a period of growth and looking at multi-region expansion across Asia Pacific. The position will provide legal advice on a broad range of employment topics, including recruitment, restrictive covenants, training, performance management, OH&S as well as compliance with the Fair Work Act , Privacy and Work Health & Safety Act and corresponding regimes in the Asia Pacific region. You will be proactive in keeping the business updated with legal and regulatory developments and take a lead on governance and the implementation of policies and procedures on workplace relations to ensure best practice is embedded as well as the delivery of training on employment law topics. This is a position with the scope to have real impact. The ideal candidate will be C4-6 years PQE level, law firm trained and be dedicated to employment law. You must have demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills and confidence in liaising with senior business leaders as well as the ability to work across different legal jurisdictions and time zones.
