Operating within the Build Readiness IPT, you'll collaborate with production, safety, ICT, procurement, and external providers to ensure tooling is safe, fit-for-purpose, and delivered in line with program milestones. Responsibilities Develop and execute the construction tooling strategy and plan Manage tooling manufacture, certification, and lifecycle Ensure tooling is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with production needs Oversee tooling assurance, training, and compliance with safety and technical standards Coordinate stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external suppliers Ensure tooling is certified, compliant, and accepted by end users Maintain alignment with evolving program milestones and operational readiness Availability for collaboration calls outside normal working hours (UK timezone) is required. Periodic domestic and international travel may also be required on an ad hoc basis. About You Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Trade Certification with relevant industry experience 10+ years' experience in industrial or manufacturing environments Experience in defence, shipbuilding, or large-scale infrastructure projects Proven ability to manage tooling manufacture, procurement, certification, and maintenance Strong understanding of compliance, safety, and technical performance standards Experience with tooling tracking systems and digital asset management Proficient in MS Office and tooling database systems Eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
