Estimator – Civil Contractor – Amida Group Our client is an established Tier 3 civil contractor that has a strong presence in both the public and private sectors. They are looking for an experienced and dedicated Estimator to join their growing business. About the Opportunity Growing civil contracting business with excellent pipeline Challenging and varied projects from smaller to $3m across public and private sectors Excellent career progression and company culture As the Estimator you’ll be responsible for working across numerous tenders in the civil sector valued between $100k–$3m and contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects. Types of projects include government projects, road, streetscaping, landscaping, carparks, and general civil construction. Responsibilities Working on tenders Coordinating internal and external resources Preparation and submission of tenders Evaluate / review tender and estimating process for cost effectiveness Tender negotiations Coordinate tender handover to project team Prepare budgets based on tender submission Assess and price contract variation orders Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants Qualifications and Requirements Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar 3+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $1m+ Proven understanding of construction with a hands‑on approach Effective problem solving abilities High level of commercial acumen High level of organisation and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Project Management Industries: Construction Salary: A$120,000.00–A$150,000.00 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia For further information, contact Jacob Montague‑Day on or via email to #J-18808-Ljbffr
