You're going to help us create safe, secure and seamless operations that result in efficiency for the Transport portfolio and its customers.Join our Finance, Technology & Commercial enabling division that provides group finance, investment & assurance, financial sustainability, PMO & enablement, group technology, commercial and procurement functions to Transport for NSW. We’re building an authentic organisational culture where everyone feels empowered to make a real difference to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.Reporting to the Deputy Secretary Finance, Technology & Commercial you will be an integral part of our newly established Division Leadership Team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading, managing and directing the strategic planning, development and delivery of the Transport for NSW enterprise procurement services and organisation wide sourcing hub. As we are rolling these functions into a centralised team, bringing the team on the journey, and developing, implementingand embedding team culture will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of these services. You will develop and lead this change journey whilst maintaining the momentum of driving clear, outcomes focused delivery whilst mitigating risks of procurement services.As you will be leading the development and implementation of Transport’s single approach to procurement framework, assurance, governance, compliance and reporting, ensuring organisational risk is managed effectively will play a critical part of your role.Click

to view the role description.About YouYou are a significantly experienced professional in procurement, contract management or commercial management looking for an opportunity to apply your experiences to develop, build and deliver a world class procurement services functionYou will have demonstrated experience at a high reliability organisation developing, leading, and driving a procurement and contracts function.You bring deep experience in leading a large enterprise wide reform.You bring strong experience developing, implementing and embedding cultural change.You bring experience in leading and delivering effective, efficient risk mitigation.You are an influencer and thought leader in delivering procurement and commercial advice within the organisation and more broadly with other organisations across the sectorYou are experienced in creating, delivering and maintaining clear outcomes focused procurement frameworks across a large scale organisation.You will understand the balance of addressing customer requirements whilst adhering to other regulatory, policy, government and operational conditions.You have strong experience reporting to Board or equivalent level.You are experienced in developing team culture and building, developing and leading high performing teams.You embrace a delivery mindset as the portfolio continues to transform.You have the ability to articulate complex concepts and put forward compelling arguments and rationales to all levels and types of audiences.You bring a customer focused mindset and experience.Who we areAt Transport, we’re passionate about making NSW a better place to live, work and visit.
