Job Summary Deputy Project Manager – Maritime Location: North Ryde (Sydney) or Brisbane Airport, Australia Employment Type: Full‑time, entry level manager Reference: 13614 Responsibilities Support the Project Manager in the planning, execution and closure of all project activities. Ensure the project has the necessary resources to execute the plan. Ensure project risks are appropriately managed, including the development and execution of mitigation plans. Ensure project opportunities are appropriately planned and progressed to successful capture. Monitor and report project performance, including the development of a performance measurement plan. Develop effective project stakeholder engagement plans and execute. Ensure the project adheres to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations. Support in the achievement of the Cash‑flow plan and maintaining project profit margins. Provide leadership and Project Management competency to the project team members. Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering. Recognition as a Project Management Practitioner. Experience in delivering technical projects with substantial systems engineering scope within the Australian Defence Industry. Australian Defence Security Clearance, or Australian Citizen eligible for Defence Security Clearance. Security & Compliance All offers of employment for this position are conditional on the candidate being able to meet Australian NV1 security clearance requirements, which include Australian Citizenship and/or Permanent Residency. A comprehensive background check will be conducted as part of the Australian Government vetting process.
