Responsibilities Perform specific engineering measurements as required in the Foundry. Responsible for the preparation of sand moulds for the casting process. Liaise with Patternmakers and Metallurgist about casting designs. Be responsible by following instructions under a professionally structured training programme. Use a range of tools, equipment and machinery in the production process of creating cores, moulds and subsequent metal castings. Prepare and mix sand for moulds and cores production. Learn and become an expert in the calibration of moulding sand mixers. Identifying casting defects and learning how to eliminate them. To Succeed You enjoy team work and can work in well with a small team of employees. Able to participate in team problem solving and knowledge management. Help build a strong culture of continuous improvement. Be part of a team environment with an open communication culture. You will be based in Australia already. This role is located in Ballina, NSW.
