This is a full-time Estimator role based in Laverton North, VIC, supporting Australia external cladding's Construction operations. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a range of construction projects, ensuring the company remains competitive and profitable. What you'll be doing Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs Analyze construction plans, specifications, and other project documents to identify all cost components Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams to gather accurate cost information Maintain a database of historical cost data and continually update pricing information Identify and mitigate potential cost risks, proposing strategies to manage and reduce costs Provide timely and accurate reports to management on project estimates and forecasts Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's estimating processes and practices What we're looking for Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry Proficient in the use of construction estimating software and tools Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across multiple departments Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry regulations What we offer At Australia external cladding, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that enables our employees to thrive.
