About the Role Icaro Cafe is hiring a full‑time Venue Manager in Apollo Bay, VIC. Icaro is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re seeking an experienced, grounded, and community‑minded venue manager to lead our front‑of‑house team and shape the ongoing success of our newly renovated space. Our café celebrates: Seasonal, local produce from the Otways & coast South American–inspired flavours Native Australian bushfoods Wholefoods, wellness, and community connection If you’re passionate about hospitality, love creating smooth systems, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this role could be perfect for you. Requirements for this role Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year Responsibilities Leading and supervising the FOH team Managing daily operations, opening/closing procedures, and service standards Staff training, onboarding, and rostering Stock ordering & management Supporting menu launches, specials, and seasonal changes Maintaining a clean, organised, and well‑run venue Working closely with the owners and kitchen leadership team to support the café's vision and growth Must Have Previous experience in a hospitality leadership or venue management role Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to lead with calmness, respect, and consistency Barista experience preferred (or willingness to train to Icaro standard) Understanding of stock control and basic cost management Passion for high‑quality service & building community connection What We Offer Full‑time role with long‑term stability Award wages + performance progression opportunities A brand new, beautifully designed venue Supportive owners and a positive team environmentOpportunities to shape the future of Icaro Café as we grow Staff accommodation option (contribution required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
