Function & Bistro Supervisor - Shoppingtown Hotel Are you an operational leader passionate about both events and daily dining excellence? We are seeking a highly organised and community-focused Function & Bistro Supervisor to manage and elevate two critical areas of our venue. Responsibilities Be the face of the floor, connecting with guests and making sure every visit is a memorable one. Act as the main point-of-contact for event clients and the visible floor leader during functions. Your role is to personally connect with hosts and guests, manage on-site logistics, and guarantee a seamless, high-quality event experience from setup to farewell. Deliver top-notch customer service and make every interaction fun and memorable. You’re the master multi-tasker who can flip the switch from running a high-stakes function one minute to managing busy bistro service the next. You’ll ensure our quality and service standards don’t drop, no matter how fast we pivot between the event floor and the daily grind. Requirements Hands‑on role involving manual handling and lifting (moving stock, kegs, deliveries); applicants must be able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently. Current RSA certificate and flexible availability. Strong interpersonal skills and a knack for attention to detail. Team player motivated to create magic for guests and teammates.
