Join the team in this critical and highly visible delivery role focused on key strategic initiatives across data centre and application upgrades.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee our client's key project delivery initiatives, including a Data Centre Upgrade Project and four critical Application Upgrade Projects.
This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization, while ensuring seamless project execution.
Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end execution of the Data Centre Upgrade Project and Application Upgrade Project Initiatives.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Communicate project status updates to Executive Steer Co, ensuring appropriate tone of voice, messaging, transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
Facilitate post-project evaluations and lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT infrastructure project delivery processes.
Skills and Experience: Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, specifically managing IT / OT infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of data centre operations, infrastructure technologies, and application upgrade processes.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, JIRA, MS Project).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Sharp and succinct communication skills, with the confidence to craft a focused narrative for executive stakeholders.
Meticulous in project planning, monitoring and control disciplines.
