Safearth is looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer with a keen sense of adventure to join its world class engineering team working on some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects in our Warners Bay office. About Us Safearth is a specialist electrical engineering group providing world-recognised expertise in safe power system earthing, lightning protection systems and electromagnetic induction. This broad discipline reaches all industries with electrical infrastructure including Power Distribution, Generation, Renewables, Rail, Roads, Water, Oil and Gas, and Mining. Safearth is Australia’s leading service provider in this highly specialised field of work. Our recent growth means we now have offices located around Australia and in the US. As a Safearth Electrical Engineer, you will become involved in technical engineering, travel and site testing, client interfacing, and working with the broader Safearth team on innovation and projects. Together, the team provides specialist consulting services in the following areas: Earthing system design Earthing system performance assessment Lightning protection system design and assessment Electrical shock safety auditing and incident investigation Complex electrical problem solving across instrumentation, power, pipe and communications systems Electromagnetic Induction studies What are we looking for from you? We are looking for someone who doesn’t mind getting hands‑on and is excited by the opportunity to mix office‑based engineering with field testing. Enthusiastic and self‑motivated, with a positive attitude to teams and safety A highly effective written and oral communicator with the ability to engage with customers from management to field staff A ‘look outside the box’ and analytical thinker ready to problem solve and share ideas Ready to work in the field Passionate about innovation and making a difference. While not essential, we would be interested in hearing about your experience with: Power system modelling tools (eg:DIgSILENT, PowerFactory) High voltage and/or low voltage power systems. Essential Qualifications and licenses Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent Australian Permanent or Temporary Resident (please specify temporary resident visa type) Current Australian Driver’s License.
