Content Creator

As Banana’s founding team’s content creator, you will harness your powers of creativity and communication to engage, attract and delight our customers and partners In this role, you will create engaging, fun and on-brand content about fashion trends, fashion outfits, Banana as a company and educational fashion and sustainability content. You will also be responsible for managing and growing Banana social media channels, and coordinating with internal and external collaborators on content creation projects. You will learn to be the voice, eyes and ears of Banana on our online channels and platform. Day-to-day, you will be at the forefront of: Content Creation: production of online content, from planning and scheduling to writing and publishing across all social media platforms and channels. You will also make captivating video content - which might feature you - for Reels and TikTok. Social Media Management: drive the growth of our social media presence across platforms like Instagram, TikTok and more As a founding team member, you will be able to make your mark in the fashion world through this content. Community Engagement: you will engage with the Banana community through our channels and social media platforms, as well as help us make decisions using data and analytics. Collaborative Projects: you will lead and work on exciting projects with influencers, fashion bloggers, including collabs and channel takeovers You have: A keen eye and knack for developing engaging, cut-through video and graphic fashion and lifestyle content. Experience and ease using content and graphic design software such as InShot, Capcut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Figma etc. The ability to create, build and nurture a social media community. The ability to make decisions based on social media analytics, trends and other data points. It would be great, but absolutely not necessary, if you also had: Proven experience in content creation, preferably within the fashion industry, especially on channels of Instagram and TikTok. You are: Excited about being part of an early stage startup looking to drive change in the fashion industry. A self-starter and purpose-driven to make change through your work. A creative wizard who is happy to explore new mediums, channels and tools to make a splash in the fashion world A curious learner who seeks out knowledge on the latest trends, news on the business of fashion, and what’s around the corner in the industry The starting salary for this role is AU$70,000 to AU$90,000 . To that end, this role includes a meaningful equity stake in the company as part of the founding team.
