We’re now looking for a motivated HVAC Technician to join our team and play a key role in our mission to become one of WA’s most recognised HVAC companies. We offer a strong, transparent package: Salary ranging from $110,000 – $120,000+ , based on skill level and experience Quarterly commission , paid on technician productivity and performance Additional commission perks linked to KPI targets and quality outcomes Permanent full-time stability with real long-term progression Training at WestOz Trades is one of our biggest strengths. A lot of companies preach growth opportunities, but none of them deliver this About the Role You will work closely with the Service Supervisor, apprentices and admin team , leading high‑end service, diagnosis, repairs and installations across all makes and models in both residential and light commercial environments. WestOz Trades are warranty agents for Hisense, Midea & Mitsubishi Heavy Industries , so your workload will span from standard residential servicing and fault finding to higher‑end commercial VRF systems etc . We also tailor the type of work to your strengths and preferences , whether you enjoy service, repairs, installs, VRF or mentoring apprentices. Key Responsibilities (Depending on your skillset & preferred area of the trade) Diagnose high‑level faults using manufacturer guidelines & advanced troubleshooting Install & replace High Wall systems to WestOz standards & industry regulations (Dependant on preferred sector of trade) Perform high‑quality repairs using correct parts and long‑term solutions Manage your time, communicate well, and take ownership of your jobs Provide technical support and mentorship to apprentices and junior techs Assist with larger projects and work closely with the estimator when required Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold WestOz’s core values Maintain safe work practices at all times Represent the brand with professionalism & integrity What We Offer Monthly RDOs for genuine work–life balance Fully stocked, modern work van Ongoing external training seminars throughout the year In‑house training curriculum from award‑winning senior technicians Modern Wangara office with interactive showroom & training bays Supportive leadership and a close‑knit, values‑driven team Clear KPIs and expectations, no moving goalposts Weekly Monday toolbox meetings Quarterly team social events Real career progression opportunities as we continue to scale Ideally You Have 3+ years post‑trade experience Restricted Electrical Licence (WA) Current Driver’s Licence Strong communication and relationship‑building skills High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to problem‑solve and think ahead Leadership qualities and a team‑first approach Commitment to personal and professional growth How to Apply If you’re looking for stability, growth, training, leadership opportunities and a supportive team behind you, we’d love to hear from you.
