Join a leading joinery company and play a key role in managing materials, suppliers, and procurement for high-end joinery projects across Sydney. Evolve Talent is currently seeking an experienced Purchasing & Procurement Officer based in Southwestern Sydney, NSW. Take ownership of all purchasing activities across multiple high‑end joinery projects. Position Details Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday (8 hours per day) Salary: $80k‑$90k + Super (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities Manage all purchasing requirements across joinery projects Raise and process purchase orders for materials, hardware, and components Coordinate and track complex orders with varying lead times Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost‑effectiveness Conduct quality control checks upon delivery of materials Maintain strong supplier relationships and communication lines Ensure accuracy of incoming materials against job specifications Work closely with project managers, production teams, and site supervisors Monitor inventory levels and anticipate upcoming material needs Support continuous improvement in procurement and supply processes About the Company Well‑established business known for premium joinery finishes, precision manufacturing, and high‑end projects in Sydney Supportive, collaborative team that values clear communication and problem solving Strong project pipeline with ongoing joinery works Modern factory equipped with advanced machinery and technology Candidate Requirements Experience in purchasing, procurement, or materials coordination – ideally within joinery, construction, or manufacturing Strong understanding of joinery materials, hardware, and supplier networks (preferred) High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to manage multiple orders, lead times, and deadlines Confident communicator with strong negotiation abilities Ability to start immediately or within short notice (preferred) Application Process Ready to step into a key role within a reputable joinery company?
