With a large, mobile workforce operating across multiple sites, the business is known for its strong operational culture, commitment to safety, and focus on delivering reliable service to national clients and contracts. With a proud workforce and an evolving HR function, the company is entering an exciting phase of transformation—optimising systems and improving performance and productivity. About the Role Reporting to the GM, this role is both strategic and hands‑on, providing expert advice across the full HR spectrum. You’ll guide leaders through workforce planning, organisational change, and employment relations queries, ensuring compliance and best results is attained. As the company addresses its operations including outsourcing functions of its corporate services division, your ability to influence, problem‑solve, and embed effective people strategies will be critical. You’ll be supported by a HR Coordinator, enabling you to focus on partnership, strategy, and advisory activities. About You You are a seasoned HR professional, who understands the nuances of industrials and the need to be site based – 5 days – and you thrive in highly operational, service delivery environments. You bring deep knowledge of Australian HR legislation, Enterprise Agreements, NES and industrial relations, coupled with the confidence to advise senior leaders and the humility to work collaboratively with a diverse workforce. You understand blue‑collar workplaces and unionised settings and can balance business priorities with fair, people‑focused outcomes. Your style is consultative yet decisive and you are able to navigate ambiguity, manage change, and drive results through influence and expertise. What You’ll Bring Strong capability in HR, Employment Relations, and Industrial Relations. Proven experience partnering with operational and executive leaders through change and workforce transformation.
