Job Description About the Position: St Peter's College is currently seeking applications for Casual Outdoor Education Facilitators for 2026. As an Outdoor Education Facilitator, you will work with students to ensure they are well prepared and appropriately supported whilst participating in their Outdoor Education experiences. The role is primarily field based with additional preparation, set-up and pack-up of activities on camp. Students embark on their ‘Pushing the Boundaries’ Outdoor Education program in Year 1, which culminates in Year 10 with the 21 Day Journey in June. Programs see our younger students grow skills through our Outdoor Education Campsite on the Finniss River, while older students venture into the wild regions of the Flinders Ranges, Yorke Peninsula and Mount Lofty Ranges, as well as interstate. Opportunities for successful applicants will commence in February 2026 and build to the Year 10 Journey (21 Days) in June. Further opportunity is available for programs in Term 3 and 4, 2026. As the successful applicant you will have: A willingness to support the School's values and Anglican ethos. Experience in working with young people. Expedition experience. (Working on extended expeditions is desirable, but not essential). The ability to facilitate in a remote area (in conjunction with a co-facilitator and program support). Provide a First Aid and/or Wilderness First Aid Certificate. Prior to commencement, successful applicants will be required to have aSouth AustralianWorking with Children Check andResponding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care Certificate - Fundamentals and Masterclass.
