Zero Markets is looking for a detail‑oriented and motivated Junior Operations Officer to join our Sydney office. This role provides hands‑on experience in financial markets, trading platforms, and risk management. You will help improve our trading operations, manage client accounts, and ensure smooth platform performance. We need someone with strong analytical skills, a problem‑solving mindset, and an interest in finance and technology. If you enjoy a fast‑paced environment and are eager to grow, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve operational procedures and risk management policies. Monitor and manage trading platforms to ensure smooth operation. Assist clients via live chat, tickets, and emails with account and trading inquiries. Work closely with IT, Support, and Sales teams to optimise operations. Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT for resolutions. Manage client accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, and maintenance. Lead operational projects to improve efficiency and risk management. Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. Experience in the financial sector preferred; Securities/CFD knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with securities/derivatives trading platforms is beneficial but not required. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written) for global communication. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
