Base pay range A$65,000.00/yr - A$75,000.00/yr Role overview We are looking for a Junior Payroll Officer based in Macquarie Park to assist our established payroll team in providing accurate and effective payroll processing. The fast‑paced role requires a dynamic and energetic person with a strong foundation in all aspects of payroll, including wages, PAYG, union fees, payroll tax, Work Cover, child support, long service leave, income and severance, and superannuation. Training will be provided. Key responsibilities Entry/upload of payroll information into accounting software and reconciliation Payroll queries, adjustments and terminations Month‑end reporting Database maintenance and updates Adapt to a fast‑paced and changing environment Work actively in the team to enhance performance Maintain strong relationships with the Staff Engagement teams Monitor and ensure that quality standards are met Identify problems and propose improvements in processes and procedures Record and take action to problem‑solve and inform others as required Skills & Experience Technical and practical skills in payroll management 1–2 years of experience Exposure to high‑volume labor hire and/or a casual workforce High level of computer literacy, MS Office and accounts payable systems Systems experience with Attache (highly desirable) Understanding of tax law and legislation Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer‑service focus A commitment to safety Fun and engaging safety and wellbeing initiatives Birthday and anniversary reward and recognition Active contributor to the SHAKA Project, SARAH Group and National Road Safety Week Weekly pay cycle How to Apply Click "Apply" now.
