Position: Expert Reviewer Type: Independent Contractor Compensation: $50–$70/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–20 hours/week Role Responsibilities Review large volumes of text for factual accuracy, coherence, and logical consistency. Identify and annotate errors, contradictions, or unclear phrasing. Provide concise feedback to guide iterative content refinement. Maintain high accuracy and efficiency under tight deadlines. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving content quality. Qualifications PhD or advanced graduate degree in a relevant discipline (humanities, sciences, or engineering). Exceptional attention to detail and analytical reasoning ability. Demonstrated experience in text analysis, research, or academic review. Strong written communication and time management skills. Ability to process and evaluate information quickly and accurately. Compensation & Legal Independent contractor arrangement. Payments processed weekly via Mercor’s secure payment system.
