We are looking for a Consultant to join our Investment Governance Team. The purpose of this newly created role is to work with clients on a broad range of investment governance-related issues. These clients include superannuation funds, insurers, charitable foundations, and other institutional investors. Key responsibilities Actively participate in thought leadership and the research process, including the preparation of due diligence documents, report writing and marketing materials relating to investment governance. Lead matters relating to investment governance with client teams at both large complex superannuation clients and boutique clients such as family offices, charities and foundations. Providing high quality and timely consulting advice to clients for investment governance related matters including regulatory and market-related updates. Review (or establish) valuation governance frameworks and providing recommendations, value-adding feedback and assessment relative to regulatory expectations. Knowledge, skills and experience Experience working with policy of APRA and ASIC. Relevant experience within compliance and or governance. A sound, working knowledge of current, relevant investment governance legislation and compliance requirements. Exemplary interpersonal skills and an ability to work in, and contribute to, a team environment by working co-operatively and effectively in an environment of mutual respect. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
