Head of Australia, Renewable Energy Solutions Our Client is a pioneering force in integrating energy storage solutions across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. They are currently seeking a highly experienced and visionary individual to join their team as the Head of Australia, Renewable Energy Solutions. As the Head of Australia, Renewable Energy Solutions, you will be based at their Sydney Office and you will spearhead the expansion of their cutting‑edge renewable energy initiatives in Australia. With a rich history of deploying innovative technologies, including being one of the first to integrate Tesla Powerpacks in the Southern Hemisphere, our client continues to lead the way in the energy storage industry. In this hands‑on role, you will have the opportunity to drive business growth, manage budgets, and build a robust portfolio of renewable energy assets while overseeing the successful delivery of large‑scale battery and hybrid/microgrid renewable energy projects. Job Description Lead and oversee the strategic direction of our renewable energy operations in Australia, aligning with the company’s vision and values. Manage the end‑to‑end business operations, including budgetary control and financial performance, ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets. Develop and execute comprehensive plans to build a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets across the region, leveraging your expertise and market insights. Take charge of project delivery, leading a talented team to successfully execute large‑scale battery and hybrid/microgrid renewable energy projects. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including government bodies, utilities, and strategic partners, to drive collaborative efforts and secure new business opportunities. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes, proactively incorporating relevant insights into project strategies. Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainability within the team and across the organization. Requirements Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of success in delivering complex projects and managing business operations. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive results in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. In‑depth knowledge of the Australian renewable energy market, regulatory landscape, and industry best practices. Experience managing budgets and financial performance, with a strategic mindset to drive business growth and achieve targets. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of fostering positive relationships with internal and external partners.
