The Project Manager will lead delivery of Dynatrace Services within the Public Sector. This role requires strong project management expertise in secure environments, ensuring compliance with Commonwealth frameworks and governance standards. The Project Manager will manage all phases of the engagement lifecycle, working closely with government stakeholders to deliver outcomes on time, within scope, and to quality expectations. The Project Manager provides regular project updates to internal stakeholders, including Account Executives, and ensures customer feedback is captured and addressed within the scope of the engagement and shares potential growth opportunities. The Project Manager follows Dynatrace’s services delivery methodology to manage all phases of the engagement lifecycle — from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. The Project Manager ensures that services are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and meet the quality expectations of the customer. The Project Manager serves as the primary delivery contact for the customer, managing communication, scope, risks, timelines, and quality. Collaboration with internal teams ensures effective resource coordination and issue resolution. The Project Manager maintains a working knowledge of the Dynatrace platform and services to support delivery alignment. Strategic roadmap guidance and adoption planning are supported by Customer Success Managers, Engagement Managers and Program Managers. Responsibilities: Own and manage the project plan, scope, and delivery milestones. Facilitate regular status meetings and provide clear progress reporting. Coordinate internal delivery resources and task assignments. Manage stakeholder expectations and communication across internal and customer teams. Identify and resolve delivery issues and elevate risks as needed. Coordinate project activities, schedules, and task execution across delivery teams. Own risk, issue, and change management processes and reporting. Track and report on scope, effort, and budget adherence in collaboration with Services leadership. Support the Enterprise Program Manager in preparing and contributing to executive status meetings with the Business Sponsor and Steering Committee. Provide detailed project progress updates, highlight delivery risks or issue, and assist in documenting any material changes to scope, budget, or schedule. Maintain all project documentation including plans, logs, and reports. Ensure scope is clearly defined, managed, and controlled throughout the engagement. Support delivery of project milestones and ensure quality of deliverables. Monitor and report on project costs and timelines across delivery workstreams. Manage multiple concurrent customer-facing projects with clarity and control. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and engagement. Use and promote standard project management tools and delivery practices. Support project-related communications and feedback collection. Provide regular project status updates to Account Executives and Services leadership. Travel and Training Requirements Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time What will help you succeed Required Criteria: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience in project delivery roles. 3+ years managing customer-facing IT or software delivery projects from initiation to closure. Extensive experience working in IT project environments. Experience managing delivery in enterprise software or SaaS environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong documentation skills including plans, reports, and logs. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet). Basic understanding of project-related commercial terms. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, hybrid) Strong client-service orientation and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Strong team awareness and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Pragmatic and adaptable in delivery approach, tailored to project and team needs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage delivery risks. Highly organized with strong coordination and team collaboration skills. Desired Criteria: Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred Agile certification (Scrum, Kanban, or Lean) preferred. Working knowledge of enterprise software delivery processes and ability to coordinate across technical teams. ITIL certification is a plus. Knowledge and experience in the Observability space, including familiarity with tools such as Dynatrace. NV1 Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
