Team Events Coordinator

We're on the hunt for an energetic events team coordinator to join our amazing events squad on an initial 6‑month basis About the Role This role is a fantastic way to get your foot in the door of the events industry, offering 6‑months of hands‑on experience with the potential to continue on permanently for the right person. Are you ready to be the driving force behind unforgettable events? As the lead coordinator of the team of Ambassadors, you'll partner with your state‑based Operations Manager to turn ordinary community and large‑scale events into extraordinary experiences Your mission? Lead your team of enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors to bring to life and execute in‑field event requirements of community and events within your territory. Responsibilities Guide and motivate Brand Ambassadors to deliver exceptional event experiences. Oversee planning, logistics, and flawless on‑ground event delivery. Drive customer interactions and team coaching on the ground. On‑ground event execution of a calendar of face‑to‑face events. Event planning support and logistics, inclusive of rostering of staffing for each event. Customer facing conversations. Coaching and development of casual Brand Ambassadors. Serve as the primary point of contact and key brand ambassador during all events. Ensure that brand messaging, promotional materials, and event setups align with the company’s objectives and standards. Lead on‑site activations, product demonstrations, and sampling efforts. Oversee and manage a team of casual event staff, ensuring all team members are well‑trained, motivated, and aligned with event goals. Provide guidance and direction to event staff, ensuring they deliver high‑quality service and adhere to the event’s schedule and objectives. Monitor performance and conduct team meetings to provide ongoing feedback and motivate staff. Organise and lead training sessions for event staff, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and tools to perform their roles effectively. Oversee all logistics before, during, and after events, including event set up, tear down, transportation, and storage of materials. Manage the storage, inventory, and condition of event merchandise, ensuring it is ready for each event and that stock levels are maintained. Qualifications Previous experience in event coordination is required, on‑ground event experience is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, particularly in managing inventory and event logistics. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be adaptable and able to handle last‑minute changes with ease. Ability to lift and carry event materials and equipment (reasonable accommodations can be made). Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for events. Training, coaching and motivational skills essential. You possess problem solving skills and can work autonomously. You possess basic skills in the Microsoft office suite. Full Australian Driver’s License required and your own vehicle. LR license - beneficial but not essential. Telco experience preferred but not essential. Open to an initial 6‑month opportunity.
