Job Description The Groundsperson, under the direction of the principal, contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the school by providing a high level of maintenance and upkeep of the school's grounds. The Groundsperson will support the school with building and grounds maintenance, cleaning and opening/closing the school premises. Experience / Criteria Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic ethos and culture of the school. Demonstrated experience performing maintenance tasks unsupervised. Demonstrated ability to manage the school's maintenance program. Experience in managing and maintaining school grounds and buildings or similar experience. Experience or willingness to comply with relevant security provisions. Demonstrated understanding of current Work Health and Safety requirements. Qualifications Certificate III or Trade Certificate in a relevant field (desirable). Current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) number. Conditions of Employment Salary is in accordance with the New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
