Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our project delivery team on a major industrial project in Gove, Northern Territory . This FIFO position on a 2/1 roster offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Liberty Industrial’s flagship projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the coordination, execution, and delivery of project objectives, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely completion. Collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones. Provide technical support, guidance, and leadership to engineering and site teams. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality management systems. Oversee QA/QC documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Manufacturer Data Reports (MDRs). Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, progress reports, and forecasts. Identify and manage potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies as required. Desired Skills and Experience Key Requirements Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in a similar engineering role within the construction, mining, or heavy industrial sectors. Skills and Attributes: Strong project management and coordination capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. High level of attention to detail and analytical ability. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality. Ability to perform effectively within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and reporting systems. Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening. Willingness to work on a FIFO 2/1 roster . Current Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid open visa with 12+ months validity).
