Digital Content Marketing Specialist Starts at 60 is Australia's largest online media brand for over‑60s, with over 260,000 monthly readers, 110,000+ newsletter subscribers, and an extensive Facebook community. We offer daily news, advice and deals across an ever‑growing range of topics, including health, finance, property, retirement, entertainment and travel. The Digital Content Marketing Specialist plays a vital administrative role in the Starts at 60 Sales Team, overseeing delivery, performance and reporting on all campaign activity. The role builds sponsored articles, email newsletters and social posts to client specifications, oversees paid Facebook advertising and optimises digital/programmatic ad campaigns. It also delivers internal and B2B content marketing requirements to support the company's future growth. Responsibilities Work with the Sales Team to plan campaign delivery timelines and benchmarks for client success. Load sponsored articles (created by the Starts at 60 Editorial Team) to the Starts at 60 website. Email advertising: add sponsored items to the Starts at 60 newsletter and build Solus eDMs to client specifications. Social media: post sponsored, client‑approved updates to Starts at 60's Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages. Manage paid Facebook advertising campaigns. Optimise campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, GAM 360 and Facebook Insights, providing strategic feedback for the Sales Team and its clients. Address client requests to change and optimise current campaigns. Report regularly on campaign performance and proactively look for opportunities to improve. Required Skills Clearly articulate verbally and in written form to communicate goals, successes and barriers to internal stakeholders and clients. Deeply understand the outcomes required by an advertising client or agency and the role content can play in achieving those outcomes. Balance multiple priorities to ensure that Starts at 60 and its clients' outcomes are achieved in a timely and effective manner. Ensure quality standards are upheld while providing personalised and efficient service. Understand campaign budgets and Starts at 60's internal costings to maximise business margin. Keep up to date on digital marketing industry developments and innovations to deliver the best advice to Starts at 60 and its clients. The Ideal Candidate Shows a strong work ethic – confident to work independently and remotely. Is motivated to take ownership of a project – seeing it through to completion with a focus on achieving the best possible outcome for client and business. Is extremely web and social media savvy – with demonstrated confidence in digital advertising. Has excellent time management skills – can prioritise multiple tasks and use tools to ensure work is completed fully and on time. Is customer and quality‑focused – proactively working to ensure long‑term client satisfaction and repeat business. Has excellent communication skills – can communicate clearly to internal and external stakeholders verbally and in written form. Is results‑driven – able to proactively identify issues and find solutions, taking initiative and recognising where processes can be optimised. Is a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to stimulate ideas, working as a close‑knit team toward common goals. Has previous B2B marketing experience – understanding of the responsibilities entailed in a B2B marketing support role. Qualifications / Experience A minimum of 2‑3 years of digital media marketing experience. Strong knowledge of Facebook as a business marketing platform, including use of amplification to maximise engagement and audience‑reach within budget. Advanced optimisation skills in Facebook marketing platform with ability to maximise engagement and reach within budget parameters. Experience with WordPress (or equivalent), Microsoft Office, Meta Business Suite (including campaigns and insights), Google Ad Manager 360, Google Analytics and Dot Digital (or equivalent) – required. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, HubSpot and Asana (or equivalent) – will be highly regarded. Experience with creative copywriting and graphic design and/or editing – advantageous but not essential. Apply with your CV and short cover note.
