About The Role Do you want to be a part of a revolutionary journey in digital transformation at Ipswich City Council? The Business Intelligence Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact our community’s future through innovative digital solution strategies. As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be part of the Applications and Analytics Team within the Digital Services Section of the ICT Branch. You will be responsible for developing and delivering Business Intelligence (BI) specific services, with a focus on improving business performance, service delivery outcomes, and meeting Council reporting requirements. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Creating and managing data analytics and dashboard visualisations across Council. Analysing business requirements and providing stakeholders with a consultancy service for BI matters. Developing and maintaining a document framework of guidelines and procedures related to BI services. Collaborating with Digital Services Team Members to deliver innovative solutions. Providing technical support and training to ensure effective usage of new systems and tools. View the position description for more details about the role. About You To be successful in this role you will have: A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, and/or substantial proven experience within the desired areas. Relevant professional qualifications in Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms. Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools and working in IT programming development environments. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience troubleshooting. A belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership. About The Benefits This is a full‑time Level 6 with a salary commencing at $110,838 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
