Positions available: 2 x 24 month full-time temporary opportunities North Metropolitan TAFE are seeking to establish an open recruitment pool . This pool will be used to appoint suitable applicants as vacancies arise, which may include full-time, part-time, permanent or fixed-term vacancies, with the possibility of further extension and/or permanency. Application reviews: Applications are expected to be assessed every 3 months, but this can vary based on operational needs. Pool Selection: Only those applicants who have been assessed as suitable through a merit selection process can be considered for selection to the pool. Appointment from the pool to a vacancy, is not guaranteed. Outcome: You will receive advice that you have been recommended for appointment to the pool or that you were unsuccessful for appointment to the pool. If you're not successful, you can request feedback and can reapply in the future. Appointments: May be made from this pool until 31 December 2027. At least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to this position. There is a minimum qualification required to deliver accredited vocational education and training (VET) as defined by the Registration Standards Standards), or its successors. The current minimum qualification required is the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110), or a secondary teaching qualification with an Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00011, TAESS00019, or TAESS00024). Applicants who have yet to obtain the required VET credentials are still welcome to apply. However, successful candidates will need to be enrolled in and actively progressing through an approved training and assessment qualification—either the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a Diploma from the TAE Training Package.
